Ralph Elshorst is a trained power electronics engineer specializing in plant engineering. He completed his studies in electrical engineering/information technology at the University of Applied Science Gelsenkirchen, Bocholt department, as a chartered engineer in electrical engineering.

He gained practical experience in the areas of flat modules and production process development and qualified as a Black Belt in the SixSigma management system. In mechanical and plant engineering in the automotive industry he has completed tasks in project planning, electrical design, control programming and commissioning of test and assembly systems.

Since 2014, he supports the team at Lauer CE-Safety with a focus on verification and validation according to DIN EN ISO 13949 and advises our customers on all aspects of functional safety. He is trained as "FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland, #13393/ 16, HW/SW Design)".
