Benhil, founded more than 100 years ago in Düsseldorf, is now part of the global group IMA Dairy & Food, which is represented with numerous locations in Europe, Asia and America. Packaging machines for butter, margarine and soup pastes, which are used on all continents, are developed and produced at the current location in Neuss. Benhil is the world market leader in this area of special machine construction.

Markus Aberle has been with Benhil for many years and is responsible for tasks such as documentation, risk assessment and CE marking. In 2005 he found a partner in the Lauer CE-Safety GmbH to help his company overcome the initial difficulties with WEKA’s risk assessment software. Due to the much simpler application and better compliance with the in-house processes, Benhil later switched to the software and database solution from Lauer.
